he Animals, The Rolling Stones, original Blues such as John Lee Hooker, Slim Harpo, Sonny Boy Williamson, Them, Pretty Things, Spencer Davis Group, John Mayall, Cream, The High Numbers, Yardbirds, Kinks, Fleetwood Mac (Peter Green), Geno Washington, Garnett Mimms, Zoot Money and Motown, Stax and Bluebeat. Oh yes!!

A bit of Mod history... in 1960s Newcastle, Club a'Gogo was THE club to go to with many of the above bands playing there.  It was located on Percy Street, Handyside Buildings.  The club's resident band were The Animals, it was hot, sweaty and packed to the rafters most nights.  Just how we like a club!
