For those who know me they know I love all things vintage! I've been a collector of vintage clothing and accessories since I was a 14 year old school girl. It started with the mod revival in 1979, me and my friends would trawl the second hand shops for original 50s and 60s pieces. In the late 70s and early 80s it was really easy to pick up beautiful pieces such as 60s evening dresses, shoes, leather handbags, coats with real fur collars etc. Sadly it is much more difficult to get decent vintage these days and a lot of the stuff sold is not vintage at all. We created Club a' Gogo Vintage, our online shop, to stock and sell true vintage pieces. If the items are not true vintage then they are of 'true vintage' quality, i.e we have a supply of L K Bennett shoes as the quality is always beautiful with leather soles and soft suede and leather uppers.
