HANDYSIDE STUDENT MARKETS
Well what an amazing day we had on Tuesday! It was a pleasure and a privilege to meet the Art, Fashion and Photography students of Gateshead College and what a delightful lot they are. We were there to talk about our new student markets and to encourage them to get involved.
Young kids get a hard press today and myself and Paul remember when we were young, life seemed a whole lot simpler. We had no social media to constantly batter our self confidence and no unrealistic (and fake) beauty and lifestyle ideals to try and life up to. So is it any wonder kids have self esteem issues. The students we met today are SO talented and were keen to get involved and to take the opportunity to showcase their work.
Our next market is on Sat, 19 November Tyneside Irish Centre and we are hoping the students will be ready in time to bring along their work.
